Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

Among the productions of the La Tosa winery we find the Vignamorello Gutturnio Superiore DOC wine, a Colli Piacentini DOC denomination, particularly representative of the region it belongs to, Emilia Romagna and the wine-making area, the Vignamorello vineyard, a cru expressly dedicated to Gutturnio, whose origins can be traced back to the times of Julius Caesar, when his father-in-law Calpurnio Pisone was the first to make this wine. Its name, in fact, derives from a Latin term, gutturnium, which indicated a very large silver cup found in Velleia at the end of the 19th century. It comes from 60% Barbera and 40% Bonarda, cultivated in land located in an elevated position and from very ripe grapes, a characteristic which gives Vignamorello Gutturnio Superiore DOC a remarkable degree of fullness and a deep structure. The aging in wooden barriques enhances its aroma and complexity and the intense ruby red color combined with the warm and deep taste make it an excellent wine to accompany important dishes, but also for convivial moments.
