Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
The Villa Antinori Rosso wine has its roots way back in 1928 when the Marquis Niccolò Antinori, Piero's father, produced it thinking of a wine that could improve its properties and characteristics as it ages. For its production, only the best grapes from the estates that the Antinori family owns in Tuscany are selected. Among the vineyards used for the production of this red we find 55% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 5% Syrah. This red that comes from the assembly of four different varieties provides for an accurate and careful manual selection of the best grapes produced in the Tuscan vineyards and a slow manufacturing process aimed at favoring the extraction of color and of the substances contained in the skin and to keep the aromas unchanged and aromas. The refinement process takes place in French, Hungarian and American oak barrels for a period of 14 months and after bottling, the wine undergoes a further 6-month refinement phase. The label has remained unchanged since 1928, the year it was first produced: it has only been slightly refined with the 1990 and 2001 vintages.
