'Vintage Collection' Franciacorta DOCG Saten Ca' del Bosco 2018 Boxed

An excellent wine to accompany conversations and aperitifs, the Brut Saten Millesimato is a Franciacorta signed by Ca' del Bosco, an expert producer both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The sun of various Brescia municipalities warms the Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco vineyards that make up this sparkling wine described by the producer himself as soft and luxuriant. After a careful selection of the bunches, the grapes undergo a traditional fermentation, diversified from the other Franciacortas only in the tirage phase. It is, in fact, at this juncture that yeasts and sugars are added to the wine to start the refermentation. In Saten the addition of sugars is reduced compared to the norm, in this way the profile is completely different, less aggressive and more "rounded". These atypical notes compared to traditional sparkling wines are then enhanced by a long aging in the bottle. Saten is, therefore, the demonstration that a small gesture is enough to create an original, rare and precious Franciacorta.
