Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Vinupetra Etna Rosso DOC is a structured red wine produced by the I Vigneri winery. It is mainly obtained from Nerello Mascalese grapes, to which is added a 20% composed of Alicante, Francisi and Nerello Cappuccio present in variable percentages. The vines, over one hundred years old, rise almost 700 meters above sea level and place their roots on a volcanic substrate rich in gravel and nutrients. The northern exposure is perfect for guaranteeing shelter from excessive sun, allowing the plants to grow in optimal conditions until the harvest. The vinification processes take place in line with the lunar phases and begin with the pressing of the grapes, one third of which with the stems. Spontaneous fermentation in steel includes maceration on the skins and lasts about two weeks. The one-year refinement involves the use of precious oak barrels. Vinupetra Etna Rosso DOC is a sumptuous and elegant wine, deep and can be enjoyed with great satisfaction even after 5-6 years of further evolution in the bottle.
