Description
Zagara Moscato D'Asti DOCG is a sweet wine produced by the Piedmontese winery Marchesi di Barolo , one of the most important in the denomination. The label is obtained exclusively from the vinification of grapes of the native Moscato d'Asti variety, a vine that stands out for its unmistakable aromatic profile. The hilly plots arise on marly soils with a good percentage of sand, quartz and silt. Thanks to the rich mineral composition of the substrate, the vines draw the nourishment necessary to give life to healthy and perfectly ripe bunches. Once the rigorous manual harvest has been completed, the grapes are gently pressed and destemmed in the cellar. Fermentation takes place in an autoclave to favor the creation of a light foam. In order to preserve the sugar concentration, the alcoholic fermentation is skilfully interrupted. Zagara Moscato D'Asti DOCG is a slightly sparkling sweet wine to be enjoyed shortly after bottling to appreciate its fresh varietal scents.
