'Zobl' Lagrein Alto Adige DOC Winery St.Pauls 2021

Zobl Lagrein Alto Adige DOC is a red wine produced by the Kellerei St.Pauls cooperative winery, a company recognized for its activity of enhancing local vines. This label is the result of the single-variety vinification of Lagrein grapes, an autochthonous variety recognizable by the delicate color of the berries. The vineyards are located near San Paolo, where the alluvial soils stand out for the substrate rich in minerals capable of giving finesse to the grapes. Thanks to the ideal microclimate, exposure and strong temperature variations, the bunches arrive at the moment of the manual harvest in perfect condition. In the cellar, the vinification begins with a delicate pressing of the grapes and continues with a slow alcoholic fermentation in large wooden vats. The refinement on the fine lees lasts for 5-6 months and takes place inside oak tonneaux at the second passage. Excellent already after bottling, Zobl Lagrein Alto Adige DOC shows all its potential for further evolutions of 4-5 years.
