From the autochthonous Lagrein vine with an age of the vines of 15-30 years and at 240 – 300 m above sea level precisely in the Prutznai and Galgenwiese area, from a clayey breccia soil, this wine is born which undergoes 12 days of fermentation in steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and aging in large oak barrels for several months. Therefore a structured, important lagrein, intense ruby red color, velvety fruit notes reminiscent of blackberries and violets. The taste is medium-strong with a velvety but present tannic structure, ideal for accompanying important meat dishes.
